Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Hungary, Q2 2022

The second quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Hungary. Here’s an overview of the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 9.4K in mid-April. Active users showed a steady increase from approximately 282K at the end of March to roughly 346K by the end of June.

Google Maps Go had a strong quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating between 5.3K and 9.7K. Active users remained robust, starting at approximately 354K and reaching a peak of around 387K in late June.

GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic saw modest weekly revenue, with a peak of $19 in both mid-April and mid-June. Weekly downloads ranged from around 3.6K to 5.2K, while active users increased from about 5.3K to 6.5K over the quarter.
